Brinkley RV’s Model Z line of fifth wheels has announced a new member to its family. Say “Hello!” to the Brinkley Z 2900—the spunky little sister in the growing Brinkley family. The Z 2900 is a shorter, lighter, and more affordable version of the popular Z 3100.

What’s really amazing about this RV is that although it is smaller and more mobile than the larger Brinkleys, it doesn’t make a single sacrifice in its living area. From the opposing super slides and dual-power awnings to the hot/cold weather package and its massive storage capacity, the new Brinkley Z 2900 has all the bells and whistles of its larger siblings at a fraction of the size.

The Z 2900 does not have a unique floor plan. You can find similar floor plans like it in other RVs, but what makes the Z 2900 stand out is the level of detail put into its floor plan’s features. From the neat little sofa side stands with pop-up charging stations to the first-of-its-kind floor-flush super slides—this fifth wheel just oozes with style and comfort.

Z 2900 Living Room

The Z 2900’s length is 3’ smaller than the Z 3100, but Brinkley RV somehow found a way to make sure you don’t have to sacrifice any quality of life by owning this smaller fifth wheel.

Z 2900 Kitchen

You want counter space? You got counter space. The Z 2900’s kitchen has plenty of prep space for multiple cooks to prepare family feasts.

The Z 2900’s kitchen is also making RV history by being the first 8’ wide RV to have a floor-flush carpetless kitchen slide. It also has a fantastic dinette that even tall people can enjoy, with a slide-out height of 76”.

And did we mention storage space? There are cabinets and drawers galore, including a built in spice rack drawer.

Z 2900 Super Slides and Carpetless Flooring

Both the living room and kitchen have a ton of living space, thanks in large part to the floor-flush super slides. It’s important to note, the slides’ flooring perfectly matches the interior flooring. It’s seamless. The fact the slides are flush with the floor means those nasty toe stubs you get in other RVs when walking barefoot don’t happen in these campers, and as an added bonus—they look fantastic! The Z 2900 is the first 8’ wide RV to ever have opposing floor-flush super slides.

Even when these super slides are closed and you’re in “road mode” you still have access to the bedroom, the bathroom as well as the refrigerator and freezer. This is no accident. Brinkley put a lot of thought into the slide design and it shows.

The floor is carpetless. And you’ll notice there aren’t any heating vents built into the floor. Trust us, the Z 2900 does have amazing temperature controls, but the unit’s vents are well hidden from view. This results in a floor that’s super easy to clean with no worries about spills or stains.

Z 2900 Upper Deck Ceiling Height

Before we get to the bathroom and bedroom, you have to understand where they’re located. They’re in the camper’s upper deck. Traditionally you lose a lot of headroom in a trailer’s upper deck, but the Z 2900 has a upper deck ceiling height of 79.5”— Yeah, you read that right: 6’7.5” high.

This is perhaps the tallest upper deck ceiling height in a fifth wheel this size.

Z 2900 Bathroom

Have you ever been in an RV at night and taken a shower? Most RVs don’t have a shower light, so it can be pretty dark. The Brinkley 2900 has a marine-grade shower light installed, so feel free to bathe in its 79.5” high shower day or night.

With a porcelain toilet and sleek recessed medicine cabinet, Brinkley has managed to make this RV bathroom look elegant.

Z 2900 Bedroom

The Z 2900 is 3’ shorter in length than the Z 3100 and the bedroom and bathroom are where you notice that slight reduction in space. In the Z 2900, the bedroom and bathroom share a slide, but the bedroom is not small by any means. It has a walk-around queen-size bed, equipped with gas struts that make it super easy to prop the bed up and access the storage beneath.

Z 2900 Mega-Storage

Let’s face it, you can never have too much storage, but that doesn’t stop the Z 2900 from trying. There’s no wasted space in this fifth wheel’s interior. We were amazed at the crazy number of spacious well-placed storage compartments the Z 2900 has. Our favorite storage space has to be the perfectly-placed closet in the front entry. Every living area in this camper is stacked with cabinets, drawers and functional furniture with hidden storage space.

If all your camping gear won’t fit inside, there’s plenty of room outside. The Z 2900’s exterior has over 100 cubic feet of storage space, and even has a large rear storage compartment.
