Josh the RV Nerd was REALLY excited about this travel trailer. In the video below, Josh goes as far as to say, “I’ve seen my fair share of campers over the past 15 years, but every now and then, one comes along that makes me go, ‘Whoa, what’s this?’ Coachmen has done some serious revamping with the Apex Remote series”.

Living Area
Being that this is a smaller unit, there isn’t what feels like a “separate” living space. You won’t find a living area with its own couch or theater seating here. However, the space that the Apex Remote does have, is used wisely.
You’ll see that the dining area is also kind of the “living area”. There’s some useful overhead storage just above the table. Remember, the Apex Remote comes in at 20 feet long so some creativity in placement was required. You can get a better idea of the layout below.

Kitchen
In the kitchen, you’ll find sealed-edge thermal foil counters, a feature Coachmen pioneered in the RV industry. The kitchen’s green accents give off a natural, outdoorsy vibe that’s just perfect for camping. It may not be the biggest kitchen out there, but it’s functional, with a two-burner stove, a sink, and a 12-volt compressor fridge that won’t drain your power too quickly. Check it out below.
Bathroom
Now, heading to the bathroom, you’ll find a compact but well-designed space. There’s enough room to move around comfortably, and while the shower might be a bit snug for tall folks, it gets the job done. The thoughtful addition of hooks for towels or clothes adds a practical touch.

Bedroom
The bedroom area features a cozy bed that’s not quite a queen size but works well for solo travelers or those who value storage space. You’ll find hanging wardrobes on both sides of the bed, along with storage underneath. The large windows provide excellent cross ventilation and a view of the great outdoors.
The only caveat to the bed is the walk-around space is a little tight.
Road Mode
When it comes to towing, you don’t need a massive truck for this trailer. A mid-size SUV or a decent tow package on a pickup truck should do the job comfortably. Coachmen has included four corner stabilizer jacks, a spare tire on the rear bumper, and even a toy lock for securing bicycles or other gear.
Exterior
The exterior of the Apex Travel Trailer is a head-turner. With its oval-style windows and the distinctive front oval-shaped windshield, it stands out from the crowd. The 200 watts of solar power on the roof come standard, but you can upgrade to the Super Solar package, giving you a total of 600 watts of solar power and a 2000-watt inverter for extended off-grid use.
