Need To Cancel Your RV Protection?
Before you do, there are just a few things to consider.
- If you financed the purchase of your protection products and are still making payments any refunds due will be prorated and go towards reducing the principal amount owed on your loan. You will not receive any funds directly.
- Paint and Fabric, Monster Seal™, and Theft protection products are physical products that were applied to your RV at the time of purchase and cannot be removed therefore they are not cancellable.
- Any refund due to you can take up to 6 weeks (about 1 and a half months) to process.
- Refund proceeds from cancelling GAP come from the bank not Bish’s RV - therefore Bish’s cannot accept pending GAP refund proceeds towards the down payment of another RV purchase.
Banks and warranty providers will require documentation per the below:
- Paid Off Loan: Proof of payoff from the bank usually in the form of a payoff notice or letter, OR a copy of the title with you as the owner.
- Traded-In RV: Bill of sale from the dealership to whom you traded the RV.
- Sold To A Private Party: Bill of Sale.
- Total Loss Form Insurance: Letter from the insurance provider.
