How Much Does the 2024 Geo Pro 12S Travel Trailer Cost?

Are you looking for an RV but aren’t necessarily looking for something to lounge around in? The Geo Pro 12S is the smallest and lightest travel trailer by Rockwood and is perfect for those looking for a “home base” to return to after a long hike, hunt, or campout.

I’m going to be honest, when I was first looking at Josh the RV Nerd’s review of the Geo Pro 12S I was a little concerned that I wasn’t seeing a sink. I assure you, this RV DOES have a sink. You’ll see it in the layout below.

Living Area

The inside of the Geo Pro 12S is a minimalist’s dream: a cozy sofa that transforms into a bed, perfect for cuddling up with your honey (if you’re cool with close quarters, that is). But if you’re all about sprawling out, this might not be your cup of tea.

They ditched the TV for a more nature-immersed experience, opting instead for a portable Bluetooth speaker to set your adventure’s soundtrack. We all have our own devices nowadays anyway, right?

Kitchen

Okay, so there’s no five-burner range or French door fridge – surprise, surprise. But the Geo Pro 12S still packs a punch with propane cooking capabilities, a convection microwave (park power or generator required), and an outdoor kitchenette.

Imagine whipping up breakfast in the open air – it sounds like camping, doesn’t it?

Bathroom

Let’s address the elephant not in the room – the bathroom, or rather, the lack thereof.

There isn’t a bathroom, but it does have a clever outdoor setup that could double as a cowboy shower spot (make sure you check what your campground requires for your gray water though!)

Bedroom

As for sleeping, the sofa-bed setup means you won’t be stretching out like a starfish unless you’re on the petite side. But hey, for the cozy couples, this could be just the snug nest you’re after for your road-tripping escapades.

Road Mode

Weighing in at around 2,000 pounds empty and 2,800 pounds loaded, this little rig is towable by smaller SUVs and even minivans.

The Geo Pro 12S stays steady on the road with enhanced stabilizers and a built-on wheel chock to prevent any unwanted rolling.

Exterior

This trailer is nice on the outside, too. With a narrow body for easy towing, weight-bearing wheel wells for an observational step-up, and the option to add more solar panels, the Geo Pro 12S has “eco-friendly” in its DNA.

The included tire pressure monitoring and dual propane tanks are the cherries on top for the safety and convenience sundae.

Potential Problems

Every rose has its thorn, and while this trailer’s thorns are few, they’re worth mentioning.

The lack of a bathroom could be a dealbreaker for some, and the bed might feel cramped for the space-loving sleepers. Plus, if you’re off-grid, remember that running certain amenities like the microwave or air conditioner will require a generator or shore power.

The price itself could be considered a concern. You can get the same amount of “RV” for a much cheaper price. One thing that makes this RV more expensive is the boondocking ability thanks to its solar options. But is it worth it? I guess that’s up to you to decide. But you can make a more informed decision by checking out these similarly sized RVs.

Good or Bad Fit?

The 2024 Geo Pro 12S travel trailer is designed for a specific kind of adventurer – one who doesn’t mind living in a compact space and isn’t afraid of taking a shower out in the open of the great outdoors. If you’re looking for a nice indoor bathroom and a living room to kick back and relax in then this RV isn’t a good fit for you.

However, if you’re looking for something that will really allow to get out and actually be in the great outdoors while having a shelter or “home base”, this RV is perfect for you.
