Twin Falls is known as a gateway to Snake River Canyon. At the canyon’s eastern end, Shoshone Falls cascades over a broad series of rocks. Trails along the canyon lead to the famous Perrine Bridge, know most for base jumpers. Twin Falls sits directly south of the Sawtooth Mountains, home to the world-famous Sun Valley Ski Resort. Historically, Twin Falls is where daredevil Evel Knievel attempted to jump across the canyon in 1974 on a steam-powered rocket.
