Living Area
The 2024 Surveyor Legend 203RKLE is ideal for couples or small families looking for a cozy space on outdoor adventures. The key features in the living area include:
- A flexible seating arrangement: You can choose from a two-bench dinette, hide-a-bed, or theater seats with Lagun tables.
- Panoramic campsite views: With four windows overlooking the campsite, you’ll never feel disconnected from nature.
- Upgraded window treatments: The RV now features blackout roller shades, for better privacy and light control.
- Pet friendly design – carpetless and ventless and even includes a vacuum system!
Kitchen
One of the things that I love to see in RVs especially smaller ones like the Surveyor Legend 203RKLE is when they have enough counter space to do meal prep – and that is certainly the case here. The counter almost extends the full length of the RV.
You’ll find that because of the Azdel wall thickness they had to install the outlets under the cabinets which some might find inconvenient for using appliances.
The stove has four burners with a microwave oven above it.
I tried to count all of the cabinets and drawers but kept losing count – which is a great sign for storage options!
Bathroom
The 2024 Surveyor Legend 203RKLE’s bathroom is small (makes sense given the RV’s overall size), however, the toilet space is just a little too cramped for someone tall like Josh who stands at just over 6′ tall.
The shower however is another story. The ceiling height here is tall enough for someone like Josh.
Other features include:
- Porcelain foot flush toilet
- Towel storage: While primarily for towels, the open-face storage can also hold bottles of body wash and other toiletries.
- Tankless on-demand water heater makes for a consistent supply of hot water.
Bedroom
The bedroom area is in the living area that we mentioned earlier and is made up of a true queen murphy bed with some handy storage shelves behind it. Check out Josh putting it to use below.
Road Mode
You have access to the whole RV during road mode! You can even have the murphy bed down with the slides closed without worrying about damaging anything at all.

Exterior
The 2024 Surveyor 203RKLE comes packed with exterior features to make your outdoor experience just as good as your outdoor one.
- Outdoor kitchenette: The mini outdoor kitchen includes a propane cooker hook-up and a sink.
- Power awning: While not the largest, the 14′ power awning provides a nice shaded area for outdoor relaxation.
- Solar package: The 2024 model comes with an impressive 200-watt solar package and a 30-amp charge controller for extended off-grid adventures.
- Goodyear endurance radial tires: These tires offer improved durability and safety on the road.
Potential Problems
The placement of power outlets under the overhead cabinets may be a concern for some, as it could limit the use of certain appliances.
