The 2024 Rockwood & Flagstaff 301RK Fifth Wheel is a couple’s camper with a serious emphasis on space efficiency.
This model was previously known as the 2622RK, but it seems that Rockwood and Flagstaff are simplifying their model numbers, which will hopefully aid in RV enthusiasts finding their perfect fit.

Living Area Built for Families
The window coverage in this model is very impressive, allowing you to soak in your surroundings wherever you are in the living room.
The view is the best while sitting down, as many of the windows are below the cabinets, but even when you’re standing, you’ll have an unobstructed view of your campsite. Rockwood’s signature blackout roller shades provide privacy and block out unwanted light when needed.
The TV in the living area is thoughtfully positioned to be visible from multiple angles. However, it’s worth noting that the TV is located very high up. Across from the TV is a U-shaped dinette, where many other RVs might have put the couch.
For some, that isn’t ideal, while for others, it’s perfect because they can either use the table and eat/work while they watch or allow more people to fit in the space across from the TV, making it perfect for families.
Located below the TV is a fireplace for ambiance and warmth. And the dinette and couch both contain hide-a-beds, greatly increasing the number of people that can reside in the 301RK.
Huge Counter Kitchen
The kitchen in the 301RK will be . The amount of storage and counter space is fantastic as you can see in the pictures provided.
Rockwood has incorporated three pop-up power towers in the kitchen, giving you the flexibility to customize your appliance placement.
Plus, there’s a dedicated inverter circuit, thanks to the factory-equipped 1800-watt inverter. This means you can run essential electric devices, like a CPAP machine or coffee maker, without any hassle during your travels.
The towers can also be lowered to get them out of the way or provide wireless charging.
Bathroom
The bathroom in the 301RK is a shared arrangement with the bedroom, offering a spacious feel.
The linen storage is part of the slide-out and provides ample space for your essentials. Rockwood has included a heat vent in the floor, ensuring comfortable temperatures. The radius corner shower, though compact, offers functionality.
However larger individuals will want to remember to face toward the corner to maximize elbow room when showering.
The shower also features a Water Miser water saver, which will hold your water and let you know when it is warm so that you do not have to waste any fresh water in the pursuit of a hot shower. This is extremely useful in extended trips.
Comfortable Bedroom
The bedroom in the 301RK features a true queen bed, and you can of course replace the mattress if needed. It’s a comfortable space with lots of storage where you can unwind after a day of adventures.
Blackout roller shades in the bedroom offer privacy and help you get a good night’s sleep. Additionally, there’s a second air conditioner in the bedroom, maximizing the comfort level.
The bedroom also has an optional rotatable TV in the corner for entertainment that can dismount for outdoor use if desired.
Accessible Road Mode
One remarkable feature of this fifth wheel is its accessibility in transit.
Even with the slide closed, you can access the bathroom, bedroom, refrigerator, and the majority of the kitchen cabinets.
This is perfect for quick stops or overnight stays when you don’t necessarily want to extend the slide. Rockwood has designed this RV with travelers in mind, and it shows.
Space Efficient Exterior
Rockwood is known for its efficient use of space, and the 301RK is no exception. They’ve minimized wasted space, making every square inch count. Wherever there would be empty space, for example behind the fireplace or the fridge, there is access for storage in those spaces.
Other features include the outdoor kitchen with a griddle, Goodyear tires, tire pressure monitoring system. The awning also extends as far as possible, covering from the very back of the RV to well past the door, giving you plenty of shaded space right outside your 301RK.
