Steve Brenneman launched ATC in 1999 after realizing that there had to be a better method to design and market utility trailers than the one-size-fits-all approach. He designed an all-aluminum base frame and wall construction that was lighter, better in quality, and more durable than the steel frame trailers that previously dominated the market. 

The fledgling Aluminum Trailer Company (ATC) chose to compete on price, collaborating with RV dealers to produce specialty trailer models that have helped the company thrive for many years.  

To stay competitive and set the quality standard for our business, ATC used lean manufacturing techniques to improve cost, quality, and production lead times as they've grown.  

ATC is now focusing its efforts on producing enough RVs to satisfy significant consumer demand for it’s all-aluminum fifth wheels. Consumers have discovered there is nothing that can rot or degrade on the ATC campers, which has increased consumer preference for this RV greatly. Many consider the ATC 5th wheel to be a one time purchase since it can not be damaged by leaks.
