Since day one, a lot of shoppers have looked at Brinkley and thought, I love what they’re doing… but the weight and price might be more than I want to take on. The Brinkley Model Gx 3500 is Brinkley’s answer to that exact problem, built to keep the essential “Brinkley bones,” while trimming down some of the premium extras that not everyone needs.
You will find all of the same core construction and cold/hot weather capability, still loaded with features you’ll actually use every trip, but with a lighter-weight tandem axle platform and a noticeably lower MSRP.
WHAT IS THE COST OF A BRINKLEY MODEL Gx 3500
AVAILABLE STARTING IN
Standard Run MSRP $203,009
The Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) is the price that the manufacturer recommends for their product. RV dealerships use this figure as a starting point to set their final prices. While some dealer prices may be higher than the MSRP, others might be lower.
The Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) is the lowest price a manufacturer permits a retailer to publicly display for their product. You might see phrases like “price too low to show” on some websites, indicating that the dealership’s price is lower than the MAP, but they can’t advertise it without direct contact.
For Brinkley RVs, the advertised price must match their MSRP, meaning dealers must display this price even if they can offer a lower one. By contacting a dealership directly, you can often get a more precise and potentially lower estimate.

Model Gx 3500 Living: Big Seating, Smart Controls, Real Comfort
If you’ve seen the Model G 3500, the Gx 3500 is going to feel immediately familiar, same overall concept, same “residential meets toy hauler” vibe, just with a more streamlined trim strategy.
What hasn’t changed is the comfort-first layout.
The living room is anchored by a massive sofa with four recliners (heat & massage), and it’s one of those setups that immediately feels luxury when you sit down. All four sections recline, giving everyone a premium seat, and yes, an adult can absolutely stretch out and nap across it on the perfect rainy day. It’s the kind of seating that makes this feel less like a toy hauler and more like a luxury fifth wheel.
Brinkley’s design philosophy shows up here in subtle ways. Lighting adjustments, fireplace operation, and entertainment functions are all placed in functional locations. It’s the “sit-in-it-and-it-makes-sense” approach that separates thoughtful design from just taking up space.

Other highlights in this space:
- Window-integrated day screens + blackout shades with reflective insulation backing
- 50″ Philips Smart TV (main) and a swing-arm style mount for better viewing angles
- 3x MAXXAIR fans (kitchen + bathrooms) instead of the tiny “4-inch” vents

And when it comes to climate control, the Gx doesn’t downgrade the experience. You still get triple GE low-profile 13.5k BTU air conditioners with heat pumps, meaning you can run electric heat, propane heat, or both, extending your camping season comfortably.
Kitchen & Storage: Still Brinkley, Still Practical
The Gx concept isn’t about stripping everything down to the bare minimum. It’s about keeping what really matters and simplifying the rest.
That means you still get:
- Residential solid-surface countertops and backsplash
- Dovetail drawer construction
- Soft-close cabinetry
- A layout that’s designed for everyday living, not just weekend trips

You still get residential solid-surface countertops and backsplash, dovetail drawer construction, and a storage layout that’s built to be used daily.

The island storage is smart and functional, including pull-out trash bins and segmented drawers that can be adjusted or removed depending on how you use them. Brinkley clearly understands that kitchen storage has to work for real people, not just look good in pictures!
Kitchen highlights include:
- GE Energy Star 19 cu. ft. fridge w/ ice maker + filtered water
- GE Profile microwave + 24″ GE Profile oven / 4-burner range
- Pull-down utensil tray, pantry storage, cookie-sheet storage, and organized drawers
- Dishwasher prep (yes, still here)
This is a full-function residential kitchen, just without a few of the more premium convenience add-ons found in the full Model G.
Garage / Flex Space: The “Most People Don’t Use It as a Garage” Reality
The Gx 3500 keeps the classic Brinkley flex-space with an 11′ garage, but Brinkley’s own owner follow-ups suggest most buyers aren’t using it for combustion-engine toys. Many are turning it into a patio room, office, dining room, or extra sleeping space.

That’s why the rear setup leans so hard into “flex”:
- 3-season patio doors w/ screens + tinted windows
- HappiJac® sofa & bed lift system with independent sofa operation
- Adjustable tie-down system with recessed L-tracks
- Loft + TV prep and a camera system that can be used to check cargo / keep an eye on kids
It’s a floorplan that can function as a couple’s rig or a family mover, depending on how you use that rear room.
Bathrooms: Full Bath + Half Bath (and Both Get Real Ventilation)
A bath-and-a-half layout is a big deal in a coach this size because it dramatically improves day-to-day living, especially with guests or kids.

From the Brinkley side, the Gx 3500 focuses on the features that matter:
- Tankless water heater (controller in main bath)
- Full-size vent fans (not the “tiny” style)
- Porcelain foot-flush toilet (main bath) and a shower built for real use
The half bath in the garage area also gets a proper vent fan and fully enclosed door, no “peekaboo” sliding panel situations here.
Again, this is a great example of Brinkley trimming luxury extras without trimming practical, everyday usability.
Bedroom: King or Queen Slide + Washer/Dryer Prep
Up front, the Gx 3500 maintains what most shoppers want in a luxury toy hauler: a true suite with a bed slide and real storage.

What’s included:
- King bed standard (70″ x 80″) with an available queen option (60″ x 80″)
- Dual motion-activated bed lights + bedside outlets (USB/USB-C)
- 32″ Philips Smart TV (bedroom)
- Washer/dryer prep (bedroom + garage)
Closet space remains generous, and unlike many “value” trims in the industry, the Gx doesn’t shrink the bedroom experience to save money.
Road Mode: What You Can (and Can’t) Access with Slides Closed
Like most big toy haulers, road mode access is limited, this is an RV designed for being there more than getting there.
With slides closed, access to the kitchen and living areas is restricted, fairly typical for this class.

That said, the Gx keeps one huge benefit from Brinkley’s design approach, the bed and upper deck are reinforced so you can still use the bedroom at a travel stop, and the slide systems are built to move quickly and smoothly.
Brinkley maintains a major advantage:
- Slide systems operate quickly and smoothly.
- Electric-over-hydraulic systems reduce mechanical noise and improve speed.
If you need to stop overnight, the bedroom remains usable, which for long days on the road, this is a big deal.
Exterior & Build: Still Looks Like a Brinkley (Because It Basically Is)
One of the most surprising aspects of the Gx line is how hard it is to spot the difference from the outside.
Brinkley didn’t cut the structural or durability features that affect long-term ownership confidence.

Key exterior/build features:
- Automotive-grade sealant package
- Impact Guard fiber-reinforced poly roof
- Electric waste valves with indicator + manual override
- 65′ retractable city-water hose
- Disc brakes
- 17.5″ H-rated (16-ply) tires
- Four power awnings (three side + rear patio)
- Dimmable neon awning lighting
- Rear-view camera system + cargo camera prep
Even the dual 30-gallon fuel tanks (60 gallons total) remain, along with pump station functionality.
One of the biggest surprises with the Gx line is how hard it is to spot the difference from the outside, because Brinkley didn’t compromise the areas that affect durability and ownership pride.
Key exterior/build features:
- Brinkley automotive-grade sealant package
- Impact Guard fiber-reinforced poly roof (more puncture/scrape resistant than typical membrane roofs)
- Electric waste valves with indicator + manual override
- 65′ retractable city-water hose
- Disc brakes and 17.5″ H-rated tires (16-ply)
- 4 power awnings shown on Brinkley’s floorplan art (3 side + patio) and neon awning lights (dimmable)
- Rear camera system (and cargo camera prep)
Power Package: Kept the Good Stuff
This is where Gx makes a strong case for itself. The “fluff” got trimmed, but the capability stayed:
- FlexPower 5500 EFI dual-fuel inverter generator (Gas or LP)
- Victron smart energy package (3000W inverter + 50A MPPT controller)
- 400W solar panels (vs. higher on some full G builds)
- 200Ah self-heating lithium batteries
- 2x 30-gallon fuel tanks (60 total) w/ pump station
- Triple GE low-profile 13.5k A/C w/ heat pump (main, bedroom, garage)

Yes, the full Model G offers expanded solar and a few additional electrical upgrades, but the Gx keeps everything required for serious extended-season camping.
Model Gx 3500 Specs (Quick Look)
From the official Brinkley flyer:
- Standard Run MSRP: $169,126
- UVW: 15,400 lbs
- GVWR: 19,250 lbs (tandem axle)
- Hitch Weight: 3,200 lbs
- Length: 40′ 2″
- Fresh / Gray / Black: 150 / 104 / 104 gal
- Garage length: 11′
The Brinkley Model Gx 3500 is for the buyer who wants the important Brinkley advantages, construction, comfort, true four-season capability, triple heat-pump A/C, bath-and-a-half living, and a flex garage space, without paying for every premium add-on that a full Model G can include.
It’s still a serious toy hauler that demands a serious tow vehicle (that 3,200 lb hitch weight is no joke), but for shoppers who’ve been saying “I love Brinkley… I just need it to be more manageable,” the Gx line is a very real step in that direction.
